I loved my dad's (now mine) Browning growing up. Super slick action, fast lever swing, and very accurate. It is nice when you can reload it without taking your thumb from over the action or the rifle from your shoulder. I remember being able to fire an entire magazine of aimed shots as fast as a 10/22 and still shoot a higher score.

I agree with J_H... I love shooting my Dad's older Browning lever action.  Super smooth action and a great shooter.  I can't speak for current quality, but browning does know how to build great .22s.  I have a couple buckmarks and I love them.

Another vote for Henry.  Great shooters, and a fantastic warranty.  If it doesn't shoot right, send it back, and they'll either fix it or replace it.  And, they are made in the USA.  Rugers are too, but you have lots of those...  :chuckle:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
