fixing sheds
« on: December 20, 2013, 01:30:16 PM »
I have a box of sheds. Most are in good condition.  But some are not. I want to fix them (chew marks, broken points,  etc.). Is there a compound I can use to do this? Am I better off just taking them to a taxi to repair? Please advise.  Thanks

I was thinking about building a mess wire "frame" under it and maybe plaster of Paris over? What do you think?

Too brittle.  Will crack and break.    Use bondo.   Its as cheap as the plaster and has the same consistency as your antler will.  It wont be as good as the stuff taxidermists use, but...

Thank you.  I couldn't think of it.  I don't remember it being too expensive

Charlie does some good work on antler repair.
