A Scaup of a day!
« on: December 29, 2013, 03:01:40 PM »
Went out and did some good old jump shooting.  Had a great time and we all limited out on scaup.  Well almost one was lost to the local birds of prey :chuckle: :chuckle:  Thanks again Hntrspud for a good hunt!

Good disclaimer, but the grammar police are going to get you for "their" being used improperly. Just giving you a hard time, looks like a fun day. Can't say I've ever heard of people jump shooting bluebills. Probably fun.

after a few thousand round you too can master the bolt action shotgun. That thing is a POS.  The Magazine fell out after every 2nd or 3rd shot.  :yike:

My wife makes good Blue bill/diver soup.  I haven't been on the Columbia this year yet to shoot any though.  Guajillo Chili is the secret ingredient that makes it good.

Of course! The ones that you don't like as table fair make great pep sticks and summer sausage. I had a great time! Thanks again!  :IBCOOL:

Bluebills are one of my favorite birds to hunt over decoys.
