Snow shoes or hiking boots? For boots, once snow hits I switch to my Zamberlan's. Thick leather, high cut, goretex lined... they keep me warm and dry, and resist too much flex.

As far as snow shoes go it depends on the purpose. If it's a trip for just snow shoeing I use a pair of (atlus brand I think) massive snow shoes. They're huge, but keep me and a pack on top of the pow. If it's hiking/camping/scouting with a chance of snow, I use a smaller pair that packs better when not in use. And much lighter!

I've already got a pair of snowshoes I'm just trying to figure out what kind of boots to wear with them.
