.22 ammo and spokane gun shops
« on: December 31, 2013, 08:10:45 PM »
Went into tier 1 gun shop in spokane today local, vet owned. It was a pretty cool class 3 dealer shop but the really cool thing was the owners knowledge of guns and the stockpiles of .22 ammo he had for sale. Also no limit on the amount he would sell you either I bought a 500 brick myself. It looks like things are becoming more available now or so it woul d seem

Good to know. Shelves are still pretty empty for 22LR here in the Tri-Cities. Maybe it will trickle its way down here soon....

People say: "I thought the lack of ammo situation has lightened up!"

I reply:  "It has, but the people who have been waiting a year for it to lighten up buy it as fast as it comes in!"  :chuckle:

All of the gun store I go to aren't getting no where near the amount of 22 ammo that the use to get a year ago, They are only getting small boxes of it where before they would get full cases of bricks and 100 packes. I was at Walmart a couple of months ago when the ammo cam in, they recieved three bricks and two hundred packs of 22lr. Three box limit, so the first two people sucked them up.

I've been picking up 22 ammo from Cabelas in Marysville (Tulalip). They only have it about once in four trips. They haven't had any in the last eight trips there, and I get there right at opening time.

I picked up a 1400 round pail of 22 LR ammo back when a local gun shop got an unsolicited order of the pails and bricks from their supplier.  It went quickly, and haven't seen any more since.  It will be a while before all the pent-up demand is filled.... :sry:

I was in MT this past week.  I bought a brick of 500, cased in 50 round boxes.  $5/50.  This was near Victor and he had several hundred bricks.  Guy in Hamilton wanted $98/brick.

For the Westies:
Sportsman Warehouse gets shipments every Tuesday, usually gone by Wednesday.
Local Walmarts have CCI Stingers in the ammo cases - three box limits.

He has no limit. I think it is stupid to limit the amount per customer.
