Hats off to Streamlight-warrant and repair
« on: January 03, 2014, 06:55:49 PM »
Grainfedmuley gave me a great little hi intensity LED 4AA flashlight a couple years ago and somehow I lost it, or it was taken from the place I left it at 1am after clamming.   >:(  Anyways, I ordered a new one, and a 3C for my wife.  Well, the switch quit working on the 4AA and the batteries went bad in the 3C and destroyed the internal parts.

Did you all know that many battery manufacturers will replace your light if the batteries go bad?  I didn't.   :(

So, both lights have sat for an extended period of time, over a year since purchase, and I finally decided to get them out of the way.  I sent them to Streamlight for service, fortunately they have dates of manufacture stamped on them, but I had no record of my receipt.  I've been waiting to hear from them for a bill on the 3C light, but did expect that the 4AA should be fixed free.  Well, today a box showed up with both lights fixed and no additional billing.

Thanks Streamlight company.

Streamlight is awesome! I have used their lights for years now. Their warranty, is fantastic!
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.
