highway 18? firearm restricted?

hey guys im curious is the eastside of highway 18 across from tiger mountain is firearm restricted? im looking for somewhere close to home to take my gf tomarrow and friday for day hunts.

depending on where it's not all open. some is 460 and some is 454. no firearm restrictions but one gmu is open and one is not.

yeah south of the ragin river is open. i got all the gmu's mapped out but i would have sworn that the westside of highway 18 was firearm restricted. so thats why i had to ask about the eastside of the highway aswell.

you are right...west side is restricted, east side is not. because of all the hikers/bikers/etc. hiking at tiger mountain.

well im gonna hit it hard in the morning. im hunting bear, my girlfriend is hunting deer. hopefully we can put something down. ill have my antlers with us to do some rattling.

I've seen some nice bucks and some pretty good bears on the East side of 18. Good luck, and post some pics if you guys score.

Was up there last week or so, alot of trimming with heavy machinery of the road edges. Hopefully their completed, cause they were noisy big time.  Didn't see much as in animals, go figure, but alot of sign, especially the lower roads following the power lines. Good luck.

thanks for the heads up with the trimming. hopefully they are done cause i dont have a backup plan or place for tomarrow.

and i actually got a camera for this weekend. so pics will fallow success.
