Knight Little Horn
« on: January 20, 2014, 08:19:08 AM »
I'd been wanting to get my 9 Year Old boy a muzzleloader for Christmas.  Once I found out that the Little Horn was essentially a Wolverine and would fit into a disc extreme stock….. I was sold. I've got an extra disc stock since I bought a thumbhole.  And everything fits!

I had them apart for cleaning and set everything side by side.  You can hardly tell the Little Horn From the Disk Extreme; it's just a little shorter but with the same quality.  When put into a full size stock the Little Horn becomes a bighorn carbine. It would be a great brush gun for anyone.

It's pretty cool to have three stocks and two barrels that are interchangeable, rather than just a youth rifle that will only get used a few times. Now he's got a little rifle that can grow with him.  Until I can afford to buy us a couple of Ultralights.  :chuckle:

I agree.
I have the Wolverine... and even though I'm a Big guy, I love how much lighter it is than everyone elses at camp.
I can walk all day with it, and feels like a 10/22.

You will probably start "Borrowing" the Little Horn from your little guy.
Stan Marsh: "My Uncle Jimbo says we gotta get up there early. Right Uncle Jimbo?"

Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."
