I think we should have the whole months of September and December, the MLs get a week, and the Modern guys, three days. Please, discuss among yourselves.  :peep:

We will never have an entire month so we can end that conversation.  I what we CAN get is our set start date of September 8.

Archers could probably get a week later start date as long as they would be willing to accept a reasonable 7 day long season. Or just hunt  ML using your archery gear.

Please don't offer your opinions anymore, Washelkhunter. We don't like them at all. It's like you belong to some perverse group of ML fanatics or something.  :yike: :yike: :bdid: :bash: >:( :hunter: :puke:  :boxin: :nono: :mgun: WEH's ideas :pee:  :mor: :violent1:

MLs aren't fanatics but surely perverse to continue to want to hunt ML in Wa.  My suggestions are purely in the spirit of brotherly support and compromise.  I want to help all y'all.

I wish this state would drop the mandatory method selection and let us hunt which ever season is open. We use to be able to hunt all seasons but they sold us a bill of sale that there would be less crowding  but now they found a way to make money on the multi season tags. It's rarely about the biology or sportsmanship its about the $$$$$$$ bureaucracy! It's a racket. :twocents: It's not about the harvest is the expeince.

They could do away with the muzzleloader season entirely. At least early muzzleloader, and add a week to the end of early archery. So for this year it would be September 2-21. Would that be better?

Oh yeah, baby. Bring it on! No one really hunts ML anyway, do they?

If they would go to the 8th to the 21st every year I would even give up a few days of late season. If they did what the other gent said about starting after the second week of September and go for 15 days I would completely give up the late season for that.

I wouldn't mind a floating start date if it was like the 2nd Saturday of the month.
