I may or may not get flamed for this but here we go. There is no chance in heck I would ever carry those rounds in a pistol I would need to use in a self defense situation. The anit gunners and the jury would see you as a "hole saw" killing extremist. They are absurdly expensive and really just a gimmick. No thanks.

Looks like it will be available for a more reasonable price once production ramps up. $45

AND, Im gonna have to agree that from a liability stand point, ammo that advertises like this.... may not do well for you in court.

"eventual complete termination of interest."

youre totally right there.  id go so far as to say never use handloads in a personal defense gun either, at the risk of being pigeon holed as a gun nut in court.  regular factory ammo in your carry gun / home defense gun is the way to go.

I agree also, no handloads. I buy a box of run of the mill, everyday available, known brand ammo for defensive carry.

Well to those that feel it is necessary to load with only non descript factory loads so be it but I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6

Jingles.....are you suggesting that currently available handgun ammo is not suitable for harvesting (see...I made a funny) the threat? Please.....If one feels that they need the newest and latest gimmick of a bullet maybe they should spend a little more time with the firearm and learn to use it. Don't get all huffy now, I'm not trying to offend. I'm simply saying that gimmic ammo comes and goes and should be treated as such...a gimmick.

i feel comfortable with the thought of defending my life with out of the box federal or hornady rounds.
