durning the mating season which it is, I would go with howls.

That's all I here people use around this time. After they start pairing up, distress calls are less effective.

Look for what kind of pray is in the area you are calling. I have had great luck earlier this year with fawn calls and cottontail distress calls. As others have said though, they are pairing up now so howls are the way to go. Good luck!

Mating season will last through march, then switch to pup in distress if your a year long yote hunter.
