Stan Marsh: "My Uncle Jimbo says we gotta get up there early. Right Uncle Jimbo?"

Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."

Last day during the muzzleloader hunt in Kahloutus, we pulled up the road a little ways and saw a group of about 12 or 14 deer when someone shot at them a they went over the ridge and out onto a flat where we watched and glassed them for about 10 minutes and decided to go for a goofy 3pt when walking through a drainage this lone doe jumped up and started to run then for no reason at all stopped and just boom! The deer was hit and the neck and piled up in the bottom of the drainage

Congratulations on your first deer.  Your photo put a smile on my face.  Were you hunting with your Dad?  I bagged my first deer with my Dad 51 years ago, a memory that I will never forget.  :)
