I want to say I have a 70 series Flowmaster on my '02 Silverado. It's been there 5-6 years and I can't remember for sure what it is. It's not too loud. I had a Corsa cat back on it from GM Performance parts and it was soooo loud and there was a lot of drone.

When I had diesels it was 4in straight pipe and that was the only way to go. A year ago I got a f150 and decided to keep it quiet and stock, best decision of my life my buddy drew an eastside archery bull tag last year and it sure was nice to pull up to a spot on the road, bugle out the window and get a response! Never do that with a loud truck! Haha anyways ive alwayd liked the sound of the flowmaster 49.
maybe you can find a guy that pulled his duramax muffler off ? they flow much better and last .
