Finally some coyote videos
« on: February 15, 2014, 01:10:31 PM »
I finally got a coyote on video this winter. This was the same spot where I had 3 dogs and a cat coming in and eating all my bait. Finally a coyote showed up last week when it was cold.

In the first video, he pulled so hard at the bait he shat himself :chuckle: :chuckle:
This is an excellent example of why all my cams are in video mode.    Bobcat

:yeah: you can see a lot of cool stuff in video mode.  Coyotes remind me of crack addicts, they're so twitchy  :o
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Yes, I thought that was quite humorous.   :chuckle:

I'll post a couple more later.

Do they usually shed this early on the wet side?  Does not look like a mange issue, just loosing winter coat.

Here's another, and I guess it's just losing its winter coat. Although it seems a bit early.   :dunno:

Here's one that shows how they are scared of the infrared light on the camera at night.

Your timing is funny with these coyote videos. I just had 82 pictures and videos of coyotes show up this week also. They are over a couple of days, but all while it is dark out. I agree that they are very leery of the infra red from the camera also. Their ears are moving like radar constantly also as they dip in and out like nervous wrecks. You can certainly tell that they a not at the top of the food chain out there.

Nice videos by the way.

Then there were these critters, which is why I chose to pull the camera today instead of leaving it up.
