  I also seen one cross the road a week ago,but I was pulling traps in that drainage that day so he is safe.
   I did stop and stomp out his tracks in the snow so the hound hunters can't get him.

You have to deal with hound hunters too? They are all over the areas I trap. No coons up there!

Nice one-where do you get your cage traps?

That's a briarpatch cage, I use mercers too.....I let another female go todayout of that same trap..3rd female in a 20 mile area in a week
