Point defiance black mouth report
« on: February 26, 2014, 04:56:05 PM »
Decided to head out with the buddies to drink some beers and fish.  Luck was with me today.  Caught this 16lb blackmouth on a cut plug.

That's a pretty nice blackmouth.  Congratulations!

I was down at the boat house last weekend and the board said "monthly count: 4".

That's a nice blackmouth! One of the biggest I've seen this year.

It's a black mouth no king point defiance can put out some big fish . My biggest is 18 lbs use to fish in front of the slag pile. Up to rusts  way . 60 -80 ft of water keeping 10 ft off the bottom . Straight cut plug on 12 lb leader ultra green not the brown. Did very well for years.

I caught a 18.5 pound hen blackmouth on Black Friday three or four years ago.  Definitely not a mature fish with skeins like pencils.  Mine came off Neill Point.  Not a lot of big ones like that around anymore.  Again congrats!
