Man the deer around my place in the last two days have gone crazy!!! One of my buddies is up hunting with me, we went out this morning and man I need to start bringing my camera. I can only hunt with him for about 45min to an hour in the morning before I have to go to work, in just that short period of time I saw 4 nice bucks. One freaking hog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have seen and I have shot some really nice whitetail bucks and this one would have been my all time big boy. I'm talking 200" + monster at 25 yds! You ask why my buddy didn't shoot it, well its because I had left him and I was on my way to work. I litterally take my camo off in the car as I'm driving, I have my work stuff on under it. I was driving out of our area when I had a doe go across the road in front of me making me slam on my brakes. Then like clock work this behemoth was right behind her. He must have been three times her size. They went across the road down into a pretty thick draw and held up, I stopped and looked at them with my binos for what seemed like a million years, about a minute. During this time I could have taken about 20 shots and you know what kills me, I'm not bow hunting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh ya I mentioned I saw 4 bucks in total the other 3 where nice one decent 5 about 18 wide, he may have made P&Y but my buddy is try to get a ripper and has 6 more days.
