They gobble year-round. The big winter flocks are still together but are starting to show signs of the spring "rut". I have a video of 26 toms in one group fighting and now the hens are fighting every afternoon. Won't be long before they split into smaller breeding flocks. Here is a pic of a couple toms fighting.
