We have to keep pushing back against these attacks on our rights and VOTE people into office that actually represent us and uphold their oath of office.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

Well Senator Feinswine sure is representing her constituents well, but we cant say the same as to her alliegance to the Constitution.

Upholding their Oath of Office IS representing their constituents; they made a promise to the People to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.  Their job is NOT to see how much they can get away with.

If they violate their Oath of Office, they need to be fired ASAP regardless of their political party!

VOTE those representatives OUT OF OFFICE that are attacking YOUR RIGHTS.

It seems like every time one of these gun control issues come up and I contact our illustrious State Senators the response is basically "thanks for contacting my office but I intend to support the proposed legislation". Has anyone had a different response?

So I'm not saying that we are wasting our time contacting our current State reps., but we are almost wasting our time.... Unfortunately they tow the party line and to hell with our constitutional rights....  At-least this has been my experience.   :dunno:

You're right on the money. Their oath to uphold the Constitution meant nothing to them but a necessary step to forwarding their agendas and those of the President. They subvert the separation of powers and undermine individual rights at every opportunity.
"Restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens based on the actions of criminals and madmen will have no positive effect on the future acts of criminals and madmen. It will only serve to reduce individual rights and the very security of our republic." - Pianoman https://linktr.ee/johnlwallace https://valoaneducator.tv/johnwallace-2014743

Our voices must be heard, or we cannot complain about lack of representation.  Apathy, complacency, and giving up definitely will NOT improve the situation. Making sure your voices are heard is NEVER a waste of time.

I'll look for the article again....but recently read that Feinstein's buddy state senator Leland Yee of California is in some hot water.  She had been praising Yee for all his efforts on gun control.  Most of the gun control laws of recent in California have been sponsored/co-sponsored/written/introduced by Yee.  Supposedly FBI has found that he has been on the payroll of Chinese mafia organizations.....and one of their main underworld activities is trafficking in illegal firearms.  Mostly bringing in large shipments of untraceable weapons to California to sell to gangs/drug traffickers.  :bdid:
