Alright, I got him out of the woods and hanging.

So, headed out this morning,  walked down the road and instantly saw 4 does and a nice buck on my neighbors property, thought to myself "at least I can say I saw a buck today".
Headed into the woods and saw the flash of a tail about 80 yards away, I could tell it wasn't a "I'm getting out of here" sort of jump, so I snuck over to where I saw it.  About 10 min later I hear walking and here comes a nice little 4pt, he walks 25 feet from me on the other side of a big tree.  I draw and he hears me and jumps a few feet and stands there....I hold and hold and hold, finally he start walking again but now he's heading away from me.  He pops out broadside at about 32 yards and I stop him and flat out miss!  (holding at full draw way too long is my excuse)  Saw another small buck and a doe and two fawns.  Later I am about 3/4 mile further into the woods and I hear antlers crashing!  I stand there and wait, but not for long, here comes a nice buck with his head down grunting a little, I draw when he goes behind a tree, then there is just one small  opening after that.... when he steps into it, I let go and can tell I hit him good, about two inches further back than I wanted, but I knew I had one lung and liver.
He went 35 yards and stopped, I nocked another arrow and watched, after about 2 min. he starts to go down, and here comes a coyote!  The coyote grabs him by the tail and the poor deer trys to fend him off as he's going down.  Never seen that before!  I moved just a bit
to try to get a shot at the coyote, and he sees me and runs off.  I wait another minute and
go up to my buck and he is done.  Very fun hunt, a nice buck at 24 yards!  I walked back home and posted the pictures then got the truck and brought him out.  Doe tag time!!
