What spine arrow?  Gold tips sometimes have a hard time making legal weight with 100 grain broadheads.  I've always shot them for hunting with no complaints.  I've never shot the black eagle arrows but have shot 3-D's with guys shooting them wasn't all to impressive to me.  I'll stick with my gold tips

I want to tag this because I am really interested going to the GT's.  I bought some Easton Bloodlines and I am not liking them.  I bought my wife some GT's and I really like they way they seem to shoot.  I have also heard nothing buy good about the GT's.  It seems most everyone here uses them.

I prefer my Gold Tips even over Carbon Express. Tough arrows and they fly well. I did buy the new Kinetics, but my bow didn't like them. Switched back to the cheaper Pro Hunters and brought my groups right back to where I wanted them. Some people complain about Gold Tips lack of quality knocks and inserts, but they've worked fine for me.

I have always thought GT made a good arrow,
I'm having great luck with the Black Eagles though!
I love these carnivores.

I shot Gold-tips before and I didn't care for them and how they were grouping (Old bow), but this brings something to consider. Great getting advice on what others use and feel are great arrows is good for narrowing down the choices, however how does one really know till actually shooting several different brands of arrows and seeing the grouping. I understand getting the correct spining, length ,etc all are factors but seems like it could be a crap shoot.

Gold tip makes a good arrow shot them for years. Black eagle makes a premium arrow with tighter tolerances than most companies. They also use high mod carbon to achieve durability and maintain a very light gpi on some of their shafts.
