We're headed with some friends to Seabrook this weekend. Looks like it's going to be raining all weekend. Was wondering if anyone's got any suggestions for good indoor fun down in that area this weekend.  I'm stuck at work here tomorrow but will head down afterwards.
There's an indoor pool there, which with a few 6 year olds, will probably be the focus of attention...but if anyone's got any other ideas I'm all ears.
Thanks in advance.

The interpretive center, no a real large exibit but has some cool stuff.
If it were during the rut I would suggest driving around and looking for monster blacktails.

The WDFW site shows Long Beach, Twin Harors and Mocrocks open tomorrow and Sunday with Sunday shifting to morning tides.  You're right there at Mocrocks. PM me if you want specifics

I seem to 'remember' there being an ice-cream and homemade candy parlor near one of the beaches.  I've seen people with all kinds of kites on the beach--kite wars.  Agate hunting.  Horse rides.

It sucks people support this place. Seacrook can slide of the hill anytime. With no occupancies of coarse.

Why shouldn't we support it?

To most the may not care. But there a big Cali firm that came in and bought up some establishments and as much as they could. There hidden goals in buying these establishments were trying to keep the Natives of Tahola areas out of PB so it had that non wild feeling. Yuppies scared to socialize with the natives.

Not sure I understand the logic. California investors bought up the land, that anyone with the money could have, in order to not socialize with the Tahola natives, who I believe wont let non-natives even on their beaches. Not that I necessarily like all aspects of the immigration from California, but I must be missing something here. Do the Tribes only like the California dollars when they show up at the casino? Is it just me that's confused?

You can go into Tahola and get a day beach permit if you want.
