Buddies have been hammering them pretty good. Bigger fish too. 20 -24 inches. Flys and castmasters I hear.

Are there any bank fishing spots on the lake (public that is)?  I have never tried the park. I live close but only fished with friends on their boats many years ago.  Thanks!

Chatreuse and orange roostertail spinners trolled as slow as possible yet keep the blade spinning , 20' out from the reeds on the far side of the lake from the launch, worked last weekend for us. They were not holdovers though, they were the bigger broodstock that the sportsmans club buys and has stocked in there every spring. Lots of fun on ultralight gearď

Their not brood stock they are triploids

They do put brooders in and there are also some good natural spawning cutts that run up swifty creek from the snohomish system. I used to live on the creek when I was a kid and would catch them in my backyard during high water. I've fished Blackman's for most my life at least 35 yrs of it. The lake sure isn't what it used to be but still fun. There are 3 main hole on the lake that produce consistently if you have a boat and trolling. If your plunking use a long leader 4-6' "TALL WEEDS"
