should I get this bow? help
« on: April 06, 2014, 11:55:36 AM »
Need to know if this bow is worth it and will be able to get me a buck? It's a browning fusion 50-70pounds and 26-30 in draw. Comes with case sight quiver arrows and a extra rest. Seems in greatcondition but iIneed to know if it's gonna get the job done. The guy wants 150

:yeah:, exactly. If the natives could kill buffalo with home made bows that bow will definitley do the job as long as the shooter is qualified. For the price as long as its in good working order, i would get it!

P.s. Make sure to take it to a good shop and have it tuned.

The Browning Fusion that I am familiar with only had 3" of adjustment and 15# of weight adjustment.  Maybe there was a newer model I am not familiar with :dunno:  But, I would make sure it's going to fit you!  Have you been to an archery shop and found out what your draw length and manageable draw weight is?

Will this bow get the job done if it fits you? = Absolutely!
Will you be happy with this purchase? = I'm not so sure!  It is an easy bow to shoot, but it is a loud bow, has a lot of hand shock and a five year old can almost run faster than the arrows it shoots.
Is this a good buy? = I think it would depend on the accessories that come with it, whether it fits you well and whether it has been taken care of properly.  With any used bow of that age you always take a gamble.

Good luck!  Hope whatever you get does indeed get you that buck
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
