need your opinion on kimber

I have several.  Each one shoots great and the actions are tight and smooth.  Great guns!

My last shoot with it.  30 rounds through this one with my custom carry.  25 yards.

Thanks for the thoughts guys.  I just wanted some opinions before I made such a large investment. After doing some research online, I would be getting a hell of a deal based on what he is asking and what they are going for online. 

Anyone have the 4in barrel?  Is there any cons with the shorter barrel?

The shorter the barrel the powder has less room to burn so you lose a little on the veloscity. Kimbers are one of the finest 1911 pistols out there. If the price is right, jump on it.
