Well We carried lawn chairs down there plus a big cooler with ice cold cans. He came walking by a staring at us with mean eyes and I said don't shoot he isn't big enough. 45 min. later he came back by starring at us. I said what are we doing here? Bear hunting? There is a bear right there what are we doing here? Ok SHOOT him SHOOT  SHOOT HIM AGAIN GIVE ME YOUR GUN AND HOLD MY BEER

That's some story, I've never tried that technique for bear hunting. I'm going to have to get me a cooler to take out with me next time. Maybe prop my feet up on it while I drink. Does the pphhhhsssst when you open the can act as a call? Does brand of beer seem to matter? I know when road hunting Busch Lite seems to work well, it may just work when cooler hunting also.  :dunno:

Sounds really mean... One time I was hunting and there was a little yearling deer that wouldn't stop staring at me. It was SOO mean! ;)

Nice looking bear but I don't think it's a good idea to be drinking and hunting at the same time. Drinking should occur after the hunt is over for the day. Just my :twocents:
