He's got a 2nd point up top.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

CP took it off for us. I already shot the elk after the antlerectomy.

Grab a knife and help me.

I blew up the photo to 400% and yes it does appear that the top of that antler sweeps back, but for the sake of argument is it a point growing back or just a funky way the antler grew and still just the main beam?? :dunno:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I blew the original way up and it looks more like part of the tree in the background than part of the antler.  I say he is legal but Bob's suggestion to wait for him to move to confirm is a good one.

Unless he is spooked, I bet he will turn his head for you to confirm the top and if there is no sticker then that is a dead bull.

I wouldn't. There appears to be a small branch off the top of the right antler.

That's just weird. Remarkably symmetrical. Spike legal, I think.
Don't know if I'd shoot it. Looks like an elk from the same planet Predator came from...

BS answer-bang!!!!!

Truth answer- that elk is not worth your rifle and lawyer if you are wrong.   It so is not even worth the risk! He turns his head so you can get another look, he'd probably take a long nap
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...
