I was foolin around on eBay bidding on a hellfire, not really wanting it but it was a good price and new so I shot a bid out thinkin someone will out bid me. It's on its way and I have no clue if there worth anything as far as sound quality. Any one on here been around one yet? That or the scorpion may be on here for sale cheap. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx guys. :dunno:

Is the Hellfire the new version of the Spitfire? If so its not as loud as the Spitfire was but it is more user friendly. Holds more (a lot more) sounds and they are easier to load. I had a Spitfire and it was fine but only held 24 sounds max.

It looks nothing like the other calls from FoxPro. It looks like a pa speaker (assuming there 55) with a motorcycle battery strapped to the side. Looks big and bulky. Dam eBay..lol I was looking for something with better sound then the scorpion so I bid thinking a big speaker would do the job. Stopped off and looked at one at the local sports store, ya you won't fit this in a coat pocket or camera bag, duffle bag maybe. My fault bottom line. I should of researched before hitting confirm. But who knows, I might like it. Just wondering of sound quality tho.

I'm not a big FoxPro fan but I,m a fan of a scorpion sized caller and have added a big horned speaker caller to my bag of tricks for when I'm calling big open country. I use tem both and am happy with them.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Well I got it, sounds are good, great volume. Only problem is to use it I'm going to have to drive my duramax to haul the dang thing! Well maybe it's not quite that bad but it's heavy. It says 3lbs but it fills as heavy as my AR which is about 8lbs. It does have great sound quality at higher volume. For the weight tho I would give up volume  for portability and weight reduction. I will stick with my scorpion and put the he'll fire in the garden with the horn facing up and plant flowers in it for the wife. She says she doesn't get anything out of me hunting coyotes, well now she does! Just my 2.

The Scorpion is what I have too.  With an aux speaker which I seldom use.  Only handy on a real windy day.  I think volume is overrated--we're dealing with an animal that can hear a mouse squeak 1/4 mile away!  I like the portability of the Scorpion.  Seems like every time FoxPro comes out with a new model, it's bigger and bulkier than the last one...  :bdid:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

I agree with u heredoggy, I hate having to carry a extra speaker for those windy days which are often here inthe basin. I've watched a dog cCoe at a dead run from over a mile away why I sat 30 feet from the call wondering if it was even on. Neatest thing I ever saw. Dead run, down one side of the canyon, acrost the huge bottom and up my side and stopped 6 steps away, right be hind the only chunk of sagebrush on my side of the hill. But to see that ki.d of commitment was neat. :IBCOOL:  Even if was a dumb pup.
