Kenton industries turrets

I am looking at adding a Kenton turret to my Zeiss scope, does anybody have any experience with them ? Good or bad.  Thanks

Interested to hear what people say. I need to have a set made for my Vortex Viper and these guys came recommended.

I called Zeiss about turrets myself. They recommended Kenton. I found out how expensive they were and decided not to use them. Shop around is what I'd do.

I did a lot of research before buying the Kenton turrets.........reviews are good to great.  I got the speed hunter out to 650yds.....could have gone way more, but then they stack numbers for a second revolution which means smaller numbers that require me to wear reading glasses, so it was big numbers and single revolution for me.

Mine are on a 2 1/2 - 16 X 50 Bushnell 6500 Elite on a 7mm mag.  I will be taking it out to 500+ here soon, only shot out to 385 so far and it was dc. 

I think with these you get what you pay for, and they required ALL data for the ballistic apps.  I will add that in the future, I will just run data through ballistic app and make my own cheat sheet and dial moa.  That is also easy as can be.

i have a Kenton turret on one rifle and will not be doing another. not that there is anything wrong with them, mine is spot on out to 700 yards (where my scope bottoms out) when conditions are close to what I had it built for. IMO they work great out to 500 yards or so, but after that atmospheric conditions make such a difference that you need to really know how to correct. with a ballistic program and a kestrel you can be much more accurate at longer ranges. if only shooting to 500 yards I would find an online ballistic calculator and make a drop chart and go shoot to see what you really need to do and once it is confirmed make a card with your dope in MOA or MIL (whatever your scope uses) and tape it on the stock. I just cant see spending that much money for something I can do just as easily and more accurately most cases with a moa dial.

Standard MOA turret with a ballistics calculator on the phone.  Enter 4 numbers for the specific location and situation and you're set.  Elevation, temperature, angle, line of sight distance (or horizontal distance and don't worry about the angle).  If I'm at a distance that I need to dial my scope, I can take the extra 30 seconds to enter it into the calculator.  Save money and don't have to worry about different turrets for different states, elevations, temperatures, etc.
