Fenwick Eagle GT

Anyone use this rod before?  I'm due for a new trout rod and it's $40 at cabelas.  It's a 6'6 light rod.

How's the quality?

Fenwicks are made in China now.that should tell you something about quality. My experience is the China made ones lack the action and quality that the USA ones did. If you do decide on it get the med action it might stiffen things up a bit since they are noodly to begin with :twocents:

I'm not convinced that their rods aren't quality anymore just because they are made in china.  I have kershaw knives made in china that are awesome..
