Sinlahekan 42in buck rumor?????
« on: November 29, 2008, 09:48:01 AM »
So i just got back from Sinlahekan.I got checked by the game warden there. He said his brother in law took a 42in 4x5 out of toats coolee  in the rifle season.Anybody hear anything on this???? Even if i heared him wrong and it was 32in then that is pretty darn big for around here. I figured by now some news of this would be on here.......

I know for a fact he said toats coolee .My buddy and i both heard 42in. That being said i guess we chalk this one up to a Warden messing with the archery hunters. There is enough people who stretch the truth now we got the wardens doing it......Great..

I'm amazed you actually saw a warden :o

The road hunting on toats and the grade road was a disgrace to watch from above.

I sure hope he nailed a few of the fatties that get there kicks out of shooting out the back of a pick up, or at best, shooting from the shoulder.

I hope they choke everytime they look at their buck. :bash:

We have been checked the last 2 years by the same guy.Once hiking out of an area and once going up to gibson creek.I think even he stays away from toats. We went up there one of the nights.I was not impressed.......Did see 2 guys with deer down. All down low in the rocks.....

Have hunted the Loomis area for the last 25 years and have never seen one except for last year, they had a game check at Horse spring coulee road, 3 of them!  You would think with the increase in hunters they would be more present!
