Having trouble finding the link but here is some interesting info
http://agrilife.org/texnatwildlife/coyotes/
https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!

The commission shall attempt to maximize the public recreational game fishing and hunting opportunities of all citizens, including juvenile, disabled, and senior citizens.

:) starting out, not having private property to hunt. figure on 1 coyote per 60 stands, if you know how to hunt. :) :)
I know people that have hunted for 4-5 years before actually seeing a coyote they could shoot. :o :o lots of them miss.
Lots of guys start out on a private property hunt and kick butt. Then they must enter real life and hunt the areas open to everyone.
My fall winter coyote loop starts in Late October and uses 5 states. I have loads of fun and met a lot of great people, takes 3 - 6 weeks.
