Winter 2013/2014 Mountain Goat trail cam - Mt. Baker
« on: May 31, 2014, 09:36:40 PM »
Thought you guys might enjoy some pictures!  Unfortunately, the batteries died in January.  Would have been cool if they'd lasted the winter as there was a nanny with a newborn kid bedded about 40 yards in front of the camera when I got up there today.

if your dates are correct those goats must winter fairly low on the mountain.
great setup.

Look like you got the evidence of how the kid was created if nothing else... ;)

Fabulous photos!! Thank you for sharing!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Here are some pictures of the new kid.  Last year's kid was still hanging around her as well.  I saw her a couple of times try to chase her yearling off.  Just a feeling, but I think the yearling was the kid we stumbled upon last year in the same location.
