How sad. So sorry to hear. Our dogs really become part of the family and the hurt is so strong when we lose them.

Having owned retrieving dogs for some 40+ years, I always expected letting them go would get easier over the years, it does not.
Every one has owned a special place in my heart.
I pray your grief is short and that ya get back on the horse (get a new pup) soon.
