Early in this thread, it was discussed to bury the heads. I always have too...,not just for other critters sake, but also so the yellowjackets don't get into the venom sac. That could be a nasty bee sting!

My uncle was recently bit by a small rattler, luckily he made it to the hospitol in time and is getting better. Kill em all Hammer!

Nice idea with the snake stick. Catching a snake, tanning the skin and eating one is on my bucket list. I just hope I can do it without shooting it's head off when I get next to it.  :yike::dunno: :dunno:

 Will a dog dig up a rattlesnake head? Mine probably would and then roll on it. She roll's on everything else that is nasty.
