Drew a Dayton muzzy bull tag!
« on: June 11, 2014, 01:55:39 PM »
Had to double check 4 or 5 times. Excited doesnt even describe how I feel right now. Probably the 1 and only time I will elk hunt the east side.

Now I gotta get healed up and in shape after having knee surgury a week ago!

I'm almost ashamed to say! ;) 7 points. And this is the first time I ever put in for an eastside tag. Drew the multi season elk tag this year and figured I had to put in for over there. My brother in law talked 2 guys into putting in for that particular tag and we both drew. 2 out of the 3 tags issued!

I gather we'll be hunting together. Small world, isn't it?

Just signed up for the site.  I am the third and final tag that was drawn for muzzleloader bull in the Dayton unit.  It only took me 14 points.  If you boys are interested in sharing scouting notes let me know.  I am all up for sharing info., contacts and tips to increase success, just let me know if you are interested.  I am planning a couple of scouting trips already.
