49 degree north Moose
« on: June 16, 2014, 02:48:42 AM »
My brother drew the 49 north moose tag lucky *censored* only had 4 points I've been putting in for the tag for over a decade. Anyways has anyone on here hunted moose in that unit and if so would appreciate any help your willing to give.

Fun permit is an understatement. I had it in 2010. You will get lots of help on here and from guys you meet up there. Do a search and you'll see what I mean

I drew the same tag! Haven't been able to think straight since last Wednesday.
We will have to get in touch.

Chiefeng, Ive spent a couple days hunting moose in that unit, if you would like to sit down and go over a map just send me a PM.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

I've been hunting that area for fifteen years. last season I counted 11 moose including one who I believe to be the dominant bull. PM me if you would like to scout the area.
