The old family boat is something I love to take out. Old Lund trihull fiberglass encased plywood. The transom got waterloged years ago and the fiberglass on the inside of the boat was cut off the transom for the wood to dry out. The wood is now all rotting away slowly. the whole transom shakes. Anyone know where and how much it would cost to have it repaired? I had a quote years ago that said worst case scenario was $2000 but probably lower. Also, the motor has always worked on and off since my granddad bought it off the showroom floor in 74. The boats name is actually the Mal-Fun-Shun (sound it out haha). We got the motor running a few years ago but it stopped wanting to run and start again. Its an old 25 horse Johnson. What would it cost to have someone who knows what they are doing go through it and do an overhaul?
Thank ya
