Anyone know if this is worth while? I will be in chelan for 4 days and want to have a crack at a chinook. Anyone catch sockeye from the bank here as well?

Go just downstream of wells dam ( drive to the boat launch then it's right down stream there)There's usually a bunch of people in rv's and bank fishing there. Don't thing chelan falls would work from bank.

Seen a bunch of people bank fishing by Wells, just no catching. In the many times I've fished out of my boat up there, I've only seen one fish caught from shore.

Yes the Chelan Falls Park by the powerhouse has a 15 ft. wide clearing to cast from and watch the salmon swim back and forth. Or bring a wagon to carry all your gear out on Wells Dam
