Big Red's pelt (Trail's End Taxidermy)
« on: July 10, 2014, 02:36:16 PM »
So awhile back I got my pelt from Kuduman and I'm stoked. It looks awesome!! Nothing he could do about some rookie skinning it out but I'm sure he's seen worse skinning jobs...I hope. I didn't really know that it was a big big bear when I shot it, I though it was just a big bear. However I had planned to put it over the footstool in my hunting room...I'm gonna need a bigger footstool :) Thanks again Jeff.

Wow! Beautiful bear. You should really consider doing more than just tanning it. I would think that's a once in a lifetime size and color. Congrats
We give your trophy that final compliment!

Thanks. Ya'll have to consider the fact that someone did a less than professional job skinning it and my wife will only buy the "once in a lifetime" bit so many times... i.e. It's my first bull, the buck has a double main beam, it's a 26# steelhead, it's a 18# walleye, I had a 3% chance of drawing this tag, etc

Your welcome Matt.
As I have said in the past that is an incredible bear and a way cool color. I wanted to rug it so bad it was hard to see it leave the shop as just a tanned hide. Congrats again.
