Congrats on a fine buck.
If the land is posted as no trespassing can you press charges? I guess it probably comes down to burden of proof. How did you find out about him sneaking onto the property?

well the trespass laws there r governed by the state police and they actually have to see them on the property. we found the drag marks in the snow.he always hangs a standon the neiboring land about 10 yards from the line. the guy as been a pain in the ass for years. he sneaks in in bow seasson too. i found one of his stands hidden in a brush pile and took it. i dont feel we should have to patrol it too keep people out. we usd to let people hunt it if they ask first and got a permission slip. but quads trails started appearing and trash everywhere so we posted it.

Great Pa deer! I sure enjoy hunting back there! Lots of deer. I remember seeing 60 or 70 deer on PA opening mornings! May have been some of the same deer getting bumped around. Cant wait till the runway expansion gets done at Erie so they can get North West flights from MSP. One less stop would be nice, dont like flying threw Detroilet. What flights do you take to get back there?

Nice deer. The body looks huge. Too bad some people don't respect other peoples property. It would be nice to catch the a-hole in the act and pepper his butt with some rock salt.

It is very hard to keep tresspassers out back there. We too have had problems with non welcome hunters. The city of Erie is about 30 mi north of of his property and the city of Pittsburgh is about 90 mi south. Lots of hunters from the cities flock to Crawford county. A lot dont ask permission. But we too have trouble with local people. Our Property is in the northern part of Crawford co. Very hard to keep them out!
