Hey guys was in the plain area last year. Saw some sign but no animals. Has anyone hunted this area and if so what's your thoughts

If you look around the Golf coarse you will see them come in and fee in the winter other than that they are in the nastiest vine maple patch you can find. Not many around and it depends on the year weather they are hit by cars, trains etc.

I've seen tracks and a buddy found a shed. I've spent a lot of time at the golf course and in the surrounding area and have never seen one. It's about the last place I'd try elk hunting.

Thanks guys.. My thoughts as well we didn't even see much deer to be honest.. Just was wondering why up high in the hills is worth a shot
