Thanks for the info Encore. You strolled by to say hi just at the right time! ;) We had a fun day. We only kept 1 king (18lbs) and 1 silver (8lbs) but we had our chances. We released 1 wild king and lost a couple others and had 5-6 takedowns that didn't stick. My buddies I was with don't fish too much so they were pleased just to be out and get some action. Good luck out there for the rest of the season! I hope to make it back out before too long.
Fish hard, hunt harder!

Yeah I showed up just in time! :chuckle: We couldn't get a bump in the bay so we went to Washaway and my wife ended up with 2 kings and a silver. I had one to the boat but that's all the closer it got and had a few more take downs and that was it for me. That's the way it goes I guess. Glad you were able to put a couple in the boat! We're here for another week so maybe my luck will change. :dunno:

Just got back home today after being down there all month. The fishing is pretty darn good right now at Washaway and the bay. Last week my brother and I limited on silvers at Waw. in 45 minutes and they were in really shallow, 9ft and even picked one up in 6ft! :yike: Took my wife out the next day and did the same thing. Couldn't pull any kings out of the shallows though. In the bay between #2 and #8 is good and between 8 and 10. Still lottsa fish down there. Wish I coulda stayed a couple more weeks but needed to get home and mow lawns and do a pile of laundry and pay bills. :bash:

It can get nasty out by the buoy. Most of the guys will go up by the house with green roof. I usually stay between there and the rusty roof building just a little bit south of there. We were getting silvers in 6ft of water between the two buildings last month a couple times on calm days of course.
