taking a minor hunting?
« on: August 17, 2014, 11:41:24 AM »
hey guys!

If I take my 14 year old son small game hunting, and he has a license, do I need a license if I'm not shooting anything? the wdfw website did not make this very clear.

Thanks!

No, you don't have to if you're not shooting. WDFW will say that you need one because they wanna make money. Never expect a smart and clear answer from WDFW. If you're not shooting you don't need any tags or hunter education certificate(actual hunting license).
