First Puget Sound King in the boat.
« on: August 14, 2014, 03:37:27 PM »
Took today off to go fishing with my daughter, but she had to work and could not  :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:

But my son had the day off school so he went with me

Dropped a few crab pots then started trolling around just off Rustin Way. made a few passes in the are we were seeinf bail balls and then moved over to Browns Point in teh fog. When we got there, there were gulls feeding all over and I can see bait fish jumping all over. We dropped our gear and made a few passes, only to pickup one shaker but the FF was lit up like a Christmas tree

After a bit with nothing but the one shaker and the bait fish seamed to dispurse, we headed to the mouth of the river. Made a few passes on a "SECRET SPOT" I kknow about and when I was messing with the FF, John turns to my pole bouncing. He grabbed it, yelled and I grabbed the net.

FISH ON.............or should I say FISH IN THE BOX  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

It was high fives and huge smiles for the two of us  :brew:

The only bad thing, was I was using my new Lamiglass 10.5 ft and didnt get to feel the fight, my son stoled my glory  :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:

Na, thats OK, we had fish      but next time, I want to try my new Lamiglass  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
