Yes, he missed but he nailed it at 96 yards. After 20 days in the field that hunt seemed pretty difficult to get into ethical bow range...40yrds. Good thing he was practicing at greater distance.

Where as at, say 40 yards, he has more of a chance of wounding it? Not saying that anyone in their right mind should shoot that far, but an animal can take a step at any distance that could have an outcome on the shot.
