We had a friend who had a nice buck coming into their apple tree on a regular basis.  They called him "Burgers".  One year they failed to fill a tag so they made him into burgers on the last day of the season.  A few years later another buck came into the yard and was living around the apple tree.  They called him "Last Resort"!  They also had a bear that would come by every once in awhile.  His name was "Jimmy Dean" :chuckle:

Jimmy Dean is a great name for a "meat buck".  I am going to "save" that one.  Last year's buck was a huge bodied old fella with a thick, compact rack.  He would have made a great "Jimmy Dean".

Anybody think pictures 4 and 5 look like 2 different bucks?

I think you are right about that! Right eye guard that is split is missing on the one, and the left rear tine is pointing slightly different too.   Could it be a daddy, and son combo? :dunno:

No, I have seen him out there several times.  He's a one of a kind.  Usually travels with a bachelor herd of smaller 3 points.  I think the eyeguard just lined up behind the other one when he truned his head.

The time difference is only 2 seconds apart, def same buck and a cool one at that

Oh come on!  Have a little fun :chuckle:

We had a buck we chased a number of years we called "Michael Johnson".  Every time we ever saw him he was running like a bat out of heck!  If we saw him today he'd probably be named "Usain Bolt" instead ;)

We also had what we thought was a doe with horns in E. Oregon.  So we called him/her "Dr. Frank N. Furter"  :IBCOOL:

Naming the animals we see on a regular basis keeps clarity when we tell guys in our group what we saw on a given day.  Makes sense to me :dunno:

Ive got a pair of cousins that name all their deer, one that comes to mind was Robo Buck, that buck was hit 5 times and traveled miles before being taken down....the shooter upgraded to a 7mm Mag, parked his .243 in the back of his dads gunsafe
