Sept NAFA sale
« on: September 07, 2014, 12:01:25 AM »
Not very encouraging but looks like things didn't get any worse from May.
Sold most of my otter and beaver for a $57.50 average on the otter and a $17.40 average on the beaver.
That is before commission so looks like otter worth around the $50 range and beaver sub 20s maybe only $15. Not good!
Sold one coon for $19 and a horrible mink for $4. Hard to draw any conclusions from that but the rest of the sale didn't look stellar.
Of course the Sept clean up sales are always bad so maybe things improve a little with fresh goods but they need to improve a lot.
Rats were down but again Sept so I am not sure how much information you can draw from that.

Anybody else have fur in the sale?

  2 coon for a 17.00 avg and 1 otter for 84.00
Could have been worse,at least they sold this sale.

I had my only otter go for $64 and averaged $11 on 3 SDA beavers. Had a private sale of one coon for $11 as well.
