Good story and great buck, congrats!  Let us know if you find last years broadhead.

Great story, Pa! You'll be able to relive that day the rest of your life.
The Israelites used to erect rocks in places where the Lord had done something special for them as a testament to him. People would come by and ask about the rock and they would say, "This is what the Lord did here.....". Now when someone sees that rack on the wall you'll be able to say, "Let me tell you what God did for me.....".

I didn't find the broadhead. There was some old trauma in the off leg. Just because I didn't find it doesn't mean it's not him from last year. I have a picture from last year and the same tear in his right ear is there. He was a tough old buck, we never tried canning meat so we did 8 quarts. Cooked up a steak and he was a little tough but the flavor was good. He was shot in the top of the neck some years ago, lots of gristle and little peaces of led above the spine in one spot. No puss pocket. We got 83 lbs of boned out meat off of him.
