3 points or antlerless
« on: September 09, 2014, 06:59:38 PM »
Quick question pertaining to anterless in the reg book. In a GMU that says, "3 points or antlerless", that simply means I can shoot a bull or a cow that does not have antlers, correct?

I know it seems silly but my luck I'd have to have an antlerless tag or something...

Thanks!

It is in the "Definitions" section of the pamphlet.

Antlerless: Deer, elk, or moose without antlers;
doe and fawn deer and cow and calf elk and
moose are considered antlerless.

Correct, you could take a 3 point or better bull, or a cow, OR a bull that does not have antlers (not very likely).

It does not mean you need to have drawn an antlerless permit. The general seasons apply to everyone with a general season tag.
